PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what information jeremy-booth.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Jeremy Booth, based in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Information collected
Information you give directly. Your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and anything you write in a message or order note. You provide this when you buy something, join the email list, sign up for text alerts, or contact me.
Payment information. Card details are entered on a checkout page and handled by the payment processor. They are never stored on this site and I never see your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived at the site, and how long you stayed. This is standard web analytics.
How the information is used
To process and ship orders, and to answer questions about them
To send the email newsletter, if you asked for it
To send text alerts about print releases, if you asked for them
To understand how the site is used so it can be improved
To show advertising on Meta platforms to people likely to be interested in the work
To meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations
Your information is never sold.
Mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
If you join the text alerts list, your phone number is used only to send the messages described on that signup form. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
Who the information is shared with
Information is shared only with the services needed to run the business:
Squarespace hosts the website and processes orders. It receives site, order, and customer data.
Payment processors take payment securely. They receive payment and billing details.
Print and fulfillment partners produce and ship your order. They receive your name, shipping address, and order contents.
Shipping carriers deliver your order. They receive your name and shipping address.
Email and text message providers send the messages you asked for. They receive your email address or phone number.
Meta measures and targets advertising. It receives pseudonymized information about your activity on the site.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure traffic. It also uses the Meta pixel, which reports actions you take on the site back to Meta so that advertising can be measured and targeted.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the site from working. You can also limit ad targeting in your Meta account settings.
How long information is kept
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, normally seven years. Email and SMS subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the provider's own retention schedule.
Your choices
Email. Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any newsletter.
Text messages. Reply STOP to any message.
Access, correction, or deletion. Write to hello@jeremy-booth.com and I will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation. These include the right to know what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain uses. Write to the address above to exercise any of them. You will not be treated differently for doing so.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has provided information, write to hello@jeremy-booth.com and it will be deleted.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The effective date at the top will change when it does. Material changes will be announced on this page.
